Bamarang goes vintage - på torsdag smäller det!

Eftersom Kellerman Vintage numera säljer exklusivt online arbetar jag dagtid som inköpare på en ny medlemssida med utvald design, mode och allmänt ruskigt snygga saker till riktigt bra priser: www.bamarang.se . Original Style PART 2!

Check it out! This Saturday, Original Style number two opens its doors at Skrapan in Stockholm - you are so very welcome to a day of casual vintage shopping, cheap treats and more!

Fashion, dahling. Vintage fashion.

Yesterday evening, mother Kellerman and I headed out into the snow to attend the private view of the upcoming vintage and fashion auction at Stockholm Auction House. The auction is on valentine's day - tuesday - and you can bid in person, by telephone and online. Also coming up is the vintage auction at Bukowskis - Sweden's other major auction house - which I am super excited about! Make sure to check out the websites for catalogues and more info:

This is the beautiful image used as a publicity shot for next week's auction, and it just so happens to feature an Elsa Schiaparelli hat which I had valued and entered into the auction.

This Galliano dress was one of my favourites from the showroom - so many sequins, such amazing fabric! I doubt it has much age to it, but can't help but love it either way.

This Valentino blouse from the 1980s was another one of "my" items in the auction. It was hung in a lovely old travel wardrobe.

These amazing suitcases are made from alligator and crocodile leather and were just fantastic, I don't want to think about how many animals were used to make these, though!

Mama Kellerman admiring a few choice garments, like this 90s jacket in the style of a 1970s one. We actually had a very similar garment in the shop for a while - but that was of course original 1970s vintage.

 This dress was a little hard to view as it was draped artistically over a chair, but it was so amazing we had to have a closer look. It is from 1908, and is so full of detailing and embroidery. I like to think that the braid along the bustline is human hair, but Mama Kellerman insists it is silk. Also good, I suppose.

There was a mountain of Louis Vuitton luggage, storage and hand bags - it seems the bidders can't get enough of the LV, and this display was getting a lot of attention!

I also submitted a Christian Dior hat, and another Schiaparelli hat with an amazing, pink flower. Can't wait to see how all the items do on Tuesday. Meanwhile, I am beyond excited about the Bukowskis auction, which I have never attended in person before. 

Igår var det förhandsvisning på Stockholms Auktionsverk, och det var många godbitar på plats. Bland annat har jag själv lämnat in den svarta hatten av Elsa Schiaparelli, som syns på auktionsverkets pressbilder, Valentino-blusen i krämvit samt två andra hattar. På tisdag - alla hjärtans dag - är det dags för auktion, och du kan buda på plats, via telefon eller online. Dessutom är auktionsvåren för vintageentusiaster absolut inte över efter Tisdag - för i Mars är det dags för Bukowskis vintage-auktion, något jag verkligen ser fram emot!

Original Style pt 1

On Saturday, Original Style vintage market opened its doors for the very first time at Skrapan, in Stockholm! If you're around, there are still three vintage-loving, cosy, free entry events this spring: March 3rd, April 7th and May 5th.

I lördags öppnade den första Original Style vintagemarknaden i Skrapan! Det var en helmysig dag, fylld av mycket vackra vintageplagg och accessoarer, och det kommer tre events till i vår: 3e Mars, 7e April och 5e Maj!

Johan brought a selection of wonderful menswear and accessories worthy a true gentleman.

Johan hade med sig herrkläder och fina accessoarer värdiga en sann gentleman och ekiperade söders män på bästa sätt!

Anna and Liin had vintage clothing and accessories for day-wear and for the evening. Sparkly tops, lovely outerwear, pretty dresses and more. I even bought a coat for myself, but that was all the shopping I was allowed. After all, I was there to work!

Anna och Liin sålde vintagekläder för vardag och för party, med massor av roliga accessoarer. Jag råkade visst handla en kappa till mig själv, men där fick det vara nog med shoppingen - jag var ju på plats för att jobba!

Flying A Vintage came along with their cute bird mascot and a very cool selection of 70s and 80s vintage, including an amazing pair of novelty Jack Daniels trousers visible in the picture!

Flying A Vintage var på plats med sin maskotfågel och lördagsgodis, Jack Daniels-byxor och härligt sjuttiotalsvintage.

De Å Sånt came all the way from Gävle in the north with a car full of lovely vintage garments: party dresses in gorgeous colours, pretty blouses and great accessories. 

De Å Sånt körde hela vägen från Gävle med bilen fullastad av härliga kläder; festklänningar i underbara färger, vackra blusar och fina accessoarer.

Little sister Agnes helped out at the Kellerman Vintage stand, with lingerie, party dresses, every day frocks and more.

Lillasyster Agnes hjälpte till i Kellerman Vintage eget hörn, med underkläder, festklänningar, vardagsfint och mer.

One of my favourites from the shop went nicely with the portrait of Fraulein Frauke, one of the gorgeous pictures exhibited by Bichard Studios - website HERE.

Ciamant brought a fantastic selection of jewellery - hand made and vintage - at fantastic prices. You will also be able to shop from her at the next market!

Cia - aka Ciamant - dukade upp underbara accessoarer till fantastiska priser - henne ser du även på nästa marknad! Vintage smycken, handgjorda accessoarer och mer!

Old Touch brought a wide variety of vintage at great prices, as well as these lovely accessories!
